Disabled Access Handrails – Manchester Property

For this Manchester project, M-S-Fab was asked to install handrails to improve disabled access to a commercial property entrance. The handrails were designed and fitted to comply with DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) guidelines and current building regulations.

Compliance Specification:

• Dual-height handrails at 700mm and 1000mm
• 50mm diameter circular rail profile for comfortable grip
• Contrasting finish for visibility against the wall
• Horizontal return ends to prevent clothing snagging
• All fixings structural-grade and load-tested
